Building the vision…
In July 2025, I set the regional record for Revolution Powerlifting Syndicate’s 148-pound amateur submaster raw classic bench press division.
A 225-pound bench press at less than 143 pounds bodyweight earned me the New England record and the meet victory.
I’ll be honest: this accomplishment meant everything to me.
I’ve run marathons, competed in road races, played team sports, and spent a lifetime chasing athletic goals. But I’d never actually won anything.
The trophy sitting in my office today scratched an itch I’ve had ever since I first understood the concept of competition.
What made it even more meaningful was the road that led there.
A herniated disc. Crutches. Pain. Physical therapy. Surgery. Setbacks. Years of showing up anyway.
That’s why powerlifting occupies a special place in my life. It represents everything the vision is built upon: consistency, dedication, resilience, longevity, and discipline.
The trophy is great.
The person I had to become to earn it is even better.
